The Lake Land College will offer a non-credit class on "Sailing, Sunsets and Serenity" from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, July 2 through July 30. The course will cover topics including the parts of a sailboat, steering and sail handling, and right-of-way rules. Most of every session will be spent on the water. The class will be taught by Dave Miller and beginning sailors are welcome. $50 cost and participants should bring white-soled tennis shoes.
