URBANA – Irish musicians Paddy Keenan and Patsy O'Brien will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Heartland Gallery, 112 W. Main St., U.

In the 1970s Keenan was a founding member of the legendary The Bothy Band; his virtuosity on the Uilleann bagpipes made him its driving force. Since the band's breakup, Keenan has pursued a solo career, playing festivals and concerts worldwide. He has composed and arranged music for several film projects, most recently a documentary in Mali.
