Proposal for new schools gets mixed review
CHAMPAIGN – Three community members involved in the equity struggle in Champaign schools for the past decade say they support the district's $66 million building program – for the most part.
Imani Bazzell, Thom Moore and Tracy Parsons, all members of the district's planning and implementation committee, said schools need updating.

$66,000,000. Yes, let's just throw more money at the schools. It's worked so well in the past.

The principal at Dr. Howard has made an effort to make things ban enough at that school to get a new school. Time to do works towards education instead of toward hand outs.
