Youth who broke fellow student's jaw to be sentenced Aug. 8
URBANA – A 17-year-old Champaign youth who admitted he struck a fellow Centennial student in the face will be sentenced Aug. 8.
Despite the youth's claim that he hit the other student in self-defense, Judge Tom Difanis on Friday convicted the boy of aggravated battery causing serious bodily harm in a juvenile court hearing.
