Robbery, attempted robberies investigated
Police in Champaign and Urbana are investigating a robbery and two attempted robberies.
About 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, a 37-year-old St. Joseph man was sitting in his vehicle at a traffic light at North Neil Street and Kenyon Road in Champaign when a man approached him and asked for money. When the driver said he didn't have any, the man who approached cut the driver on the arm with a knife and ran off.
