Incident earns man probation in property damage case
URBANA – A Champaign man who admitted damaging property at a Champaign home in June was sentenced Monday to 18 months of probation.
Eric J. Barker, 19, who listed an address in the 1200 block of North Hickory Street, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property, admitting that on June 6 he threw a beer bottle through a screen of a home in the 200 block of East Garwood Street, ripping the screen.
