Man sentenced to 40 years on drug conviction
URBANA – Despite Bryant Douglas' claim that he had nothing to do with a large amount of cocaine and cannabis found in a northwest Champaign home more than a year ago, a Champaign County judge sentenced him to 40 years in prison, calling him deceitful.
In May a Champaign County jury convicted Douglas, 31, who listed an address in San Bernardino, Calif., but who also has family in Champaign, of two counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession with intent to deliver cannabis.
