Watseka man charged with murder
WATSEKA – A Watseka man is being held on first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of a man outside a Watseka tavern Tuesday.
Iroquois County State's Attorney Jim Devine Wednesday filed two counts of first-degree murder against Jeffrey D. Elwyn, also known as Jeffrey Hite, 30, in the death of Roger McVay 40, of Watseka.
