Officials accuse Thomasboro man of serial lawn mower theft
URBANA – A 20-year-old Thomasboro man who prosecutors say has mental difficulties is to be back in court May 26 after being charged with breaking into sheds in the village and taking lawn mowers.
When he was arrested this week for burglary, Matthew Thompson already had three pending misdemeanor cases, alleging that in February and March he stole lawn mowers from homes in Thomasboro, all of which have been recovered.
