Tolono man remains hospitalized after 2-vehicle crash
TOLONO – A Tolono man remained hospitalized Saturday with injuries he received Thursday evening when he was hit by an alleged drunken driver north of Tolono.
Illinois State Police at Pesotum said Dale Stierwalt, 74, of Tolono was driving his car south on U.S. 45, about a half-mile south of County Road 900 N, when it was hit from behind about 7 p.m. by a vehicle driven by Thomas A. Mathis, 21, of Lemont.
