600 marijuana plants seized from Ford County field
ROBERTS – One week after a rural Thawville couple were arrested for allegedly growing more than 2,000 cannabis plants in Iroquois County, another substantial marijuana-growing operation has been discovered, this time in Ford County.
Friday's seizure of nearly 600 cannabis plants from a farm field near Roberts was the largest Ford County Sheriff Mark Doran had seen in 19 years of law enforcement experience.
