Pesotum man pleads guilty to misdemeanor DUI
GOLCONDA – A Pesotum man whose girlfriend was killed when he crashed an all-terrain-vehicle in far southern Illinois after drinking alcohol has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor for court supervision.
Pope County State's Attorney Janet Proctor said Matthew Paeth, 20, was sentenced Monday in Pope County Circuit Court to a year of court supervision after pleading guilty to misdemeanor driving under the influence. Proctor said Paeth's blood-alcohol concentration was 0.081 percent.
