Sullivan theater's show will aid Moultrie food bank
SULLIVAN – The Little Theatre On The Square will present a free performance at 3 p.m. today of "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" to benefit the Moultrie County Food Pantry.
The theater will accept nonperishable food and cash donations for the Food Pantry from patrons.
In a news release, the theater described "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" as a high-energy, 50-minute stage show based on the Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning cartoon series.
The show celebrates everything from adverbs to history, grammar, math, science, and politics with songs such as "Conjunction Junction," "Just A Bill," "Lolly, Lolly, Lolly" and "Unpack Your Adjectives."
Tickets will not be needed for the free show on Sunday; patrons will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. The Little Theatre is at 16 E. Harrison St. on the square in Sullivan.
