Negotiations over hall of fame's future home continue
DANVILLE – Officials are still in negotiations for a downtown building in which to house the Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame once it moves to town.
Jeanie Cooke, executive director of the Danville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, said a site has been identified but negotiations are ongoing. She didn't specify whether the site would be purchased or leased, but either way, the hall of fame will be in the downtown area.
