U.S. 136 road work to take weeks
Motorists can expect work crews and construction delays in the coming weeks near Fisher and Arcola.
Illinois Department of Transportation spokesman Brian Wiliamsen said work was scheduled to begin today to repair a bridge carrying U.S. 136 over the Sangamon River less than a mile east of Fisher.
