Gibson City residents can sign up for emergency alerts
GIBSON CITY – Area residents can soon sign up for notification of emergencies via an automated call system, following final approval of the plan by the Gibson City Emergency Readiness Task Force.
"This is the most significant thing we've accomplished in the two years of (the task force's) existence," said Chairman Bruce Hammitt at the group's meeting this week.
