Mahomet board votes to support sales tax
MAHOMET – Mahomet-Seymour added its official support to a countywide sales tax that would pay for school improvements, but a few school board members still expressed concern about it.
Board members voted 5-0 at a special Wednesday meeting to support the tax. Members Val Woodruff and Tom Harpst were absent.
