Remember the good old days, when gasoline was cheap?
Like, seven years ago?
Back in 2001, gasoline was about $1.51 a gallon.
Today it's hovering just below $4 a gallon in Champaign County, and even higher in metropolitan areas like Chicago.
What the heck is going on?
