Fifth suspicious fire reported in Melvin
MELVIN – The state fire marshal's office has been called to investigate the fifth suspicious structure fire since last summer around Melvin.
A two-car garage in the 300 block of North Green Street on the village's northwest side was apparently set ablaze late Saturday night, said Larry Boundy, chief of the Roberts-Melvin Fire Protection District.
