Garage fire caught before cars destroyed

CHAMPAIGN – Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire that caused an estimated $10,000 damage to a garage in Champaign Saturday.

Champaign firefighters were called to the fire at 1204 Clock Street at 9:19 a.m. Saturday, according to Lt. Cullen Jones.
