Champaign middle schools may deliver more sports
CHAMPAIGN – Edison Middle School offered an exploratory baseball program last fall, and after a successful pilot, the Champaign school district is recommending making the program permanent for all middle schools.
It is also recommending a partnership with the Champaign Park District in which the park district would offer recreational volleyball and basketball for all middle school students.
