Home, trailer damaged in minor fires
DANVILLE – Fire officials believe an accident involving aerosol cans prompted a small explosion and fire that damaged a house southeast of Danville on Friday.
Firefighters were called to a fire at 1602 Greenwood Cemetery Road at 9:45 a.m. When they arrived, there was a small fire in the basement of the one-story wood-frame house, said Scott Weidig, chief of the Lynch Area Fire Protection District.
