Jury returns acquittal on drug charge
URBANA – A Champaign man accused of selling cocaine to a police informant was acquitted of that charge Thursday by a Champaign County jury.
Michael Lightfoot, 34, who listed an address in the 1400 block of West Anthony Drive, had been charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance for selling three-tenths of a gram of crack cocaine to a woman on Aug. 18, 2006.
