Firefighters' contract on Champaign council's agenda
CHAMPAIGN – The city council will consider a three-year contract for city firefighters tonight.
The agreement, retroactive to July 1, 2007, provides across-the-board raises of 3.25 percent for the first year and 3.75 percent for the next two years for the city's 99 firefighters. The deal runs through June 30, 2010.
