Champaign man remains hospitalized following crash
LEVERETT – A Champaign man remained hospitalized this morning after an accident on Interstate 57.
According to an Illinois State Police report, Richard Scott Vlietstra, 38, was driving a white 2005 GMC Freightliner with Oklahoma registration north on I-57 near Leverett at 5:17 a.m. Monday when he suddenly saw something in the road.
