Champaign to close major portion of Springfield Avenue
CHAMPAIGN – In what promises to be a major headache for local drivers, Springfield Avenue will be closed in Champaign between First and Fourth streets for most of October, starting Wednesday.
The closure is expected to last until Oct. 29 .
