Donations to UI this fiscal year total almost $214 million
The financial markets may be shaky, but donations are up at the University of Illinois.
Almost $214 million was given to the University of Illinois and its foundation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, according to Walter Knorr, the university's chief financial officer and treasurer of the UI Foundation.
