UI urges vigilance following Halloween threat

CHAMPAIGN – Campus police are reminding people who plan to be on Green Street on Halloween to be careful, but not to panic, in the wake of a shooting threat discovered earlier this month.

A note was found on Oct. 5 in a bathroom at the University of Illinois Undergraduate Library in which the author threatened to shoot someone on Green Street on Halloween night.
