Urbana man charged in drug case
URBANA – An Urbana man accused of having cocaine and cannabis for sale is due back in court Feb. 3 with an attorney.
Thomas Rasheed, 26, of the 700 block of South Wabash Avenue, Urbana, was arrested Sunday after University of Illinois police found 27.4 grams of powder cocaine, about 2 ounces of cannabis, a loaded gun, $2,700 cash and drug paraphernalia in his home, according to Assistant State's Attorney Joel Fletcher.
