Danville panel proposes rules to muzzle dangerous dogs
DANVILLE – After weeks of study and discussion, an ad hoc committee has suggested ordinance changes that allow officials to take a more active approach in dealing with potentially dangerous dogs to protect the public.
"We need to be able to affect the owner before something would really happen, such as an attack, mauling or injury," said David Wesner, corporation counsel for the city of Danville.
