Benefit auction to feature works of local artists

CHAMPAIGN – A silent auction featuring the works of local artists will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. today to benefit the new Hope Community Health Center, a free clinic that provides health care for the needy.

The auction will be at the new I Hotel at the corner of St. Mary's Road and South First Street and will feature music and a cash bar. About 30 pieces of art will be available for auction.
