Oakwood family loses home in Saturday fire

OAKWOOD – The home of a National Guard member, who is currently serving in Afghanistan, burned down Saturday afternoon.

Oakwood firefighters were called out just after 11:30 a.m. Saturday to the home of Larry and Kathleen Brewer, 204 S. Olmstead, said Tony Frye, chief of the Oakwood Fire Protection District.
