Recycling center plans approved by Urbana City Council
URBANA – A former drive-in movie theater on North Cunningham Avenue will become home to a regional recycling facility in coming months.
The city council voted 6-0 Monday night to issue a special-use permit to allow Mervis Industries of Danville to establish an Advantage Recycling facility at 3008 North Cunningham Ave. on 10 acres north of Interstate 74.
