As need rises, funds not always following suit in recession
CHAMPAIGN – The shelves at Habitat for Humanity's ReStore are a bit emptier than usual, volunteers are harder to come by, and building sponsors have dried up.
The Champaign County organization, which has built as many as six houses in a single year, has just one scheduled for 2009.
