President says UI Foundation 'won't retreat' in recession

Growing unemployment. Declining financial markets. Falling real estate values.

Notwithstanding the current recession, the University of Illinois Foundation, the private fundraising arm of the university, is in the midst of the largest fundraising campaign in school history.
