UI grad's family awaits start of shuttle mission; launch delayed
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Three decades ago, Kelly Archambault was leading cheers for the Rantoul High School cheerleading squad.
Wednesday night, she'll be cheering on her husband, astronaut (and University of Illinois engineering grad) Lee Archambault, as he commands space shuttle Discovery, which is scheduled to lift off from Cape Canaveral at 8:20 p.m. CDT.
