Meadowbrook hog cooperative files for bankruptcy

EAST ST. LOUIS (AP) – An Illinois hog-farming cooperative that opened with hopes that it could transform an industry has filed for bankruptcy.

Meadowbrook Farms filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy Friday in East St. Louis.
