Three area car dealers on Chrysler's closing list

CHAMPAIGN – At least three East Central Illinois car dealers made the list of more than 700 dealerships that will lose their Chrysler franchises as part of the automaker's ongoing bankruptcy.

Chrysler LLC announced Thursday that it would close about 25 percent of its 3,200 dealerships by June 9. A list of the dealerships was released Wednesday.
