Philo board invites man to offer update on business plans
PHILO – Philo officials want to hear from a resident who asked if he could open a gun business in his home.
On April 1, the village board decided that Sean Talbott's request to open a firearms sales and repair business at his home at 105 E. Madison St. could qualify as a home-based business as long as it complied with certain restrictions such as keeping all firearms in a locked safe and having a minimum of $250,000 in liability insurance.
