Attempt to move state's primary election to June fails
SPRINGFIELD – A longshot effort to move next year's Illinois primary election from February to June failed in the Illinois House on Friday.
The measure, sponsored by Rep. Bill Black, R-Danville, was stymied in a procedural attempt to move it to the House floor.
