Officials plan to hold shredding event again
CHAMPAIGN – Crimestoppers of Champaign County officials believe they not only prevented identity theft with the organization's first-ever shredding event, but they also helped the environment.
The June 6 event at the Assembly Hall parking lot resulted in 9,000 pounds of personal documents being shredded.
