Urbana council OKs funding boost for social services
URBANA – With the national and state economies pinching budgets, Urbana officials are putting more money into social service funding.
Members of the Urbana City Council approved allocation of $312,760 for grants to 40 social service agencies on Monday. That's up from $299,481 last year.
