No tickets to be issued in death of Mahomet pedestrian
URBANA – Champaign County sheriff's deputies issued no tickets in connection with the death of a Mahomet pedestrian killed over the weekend.
Sheriff's Capt. Tim Voges said William Carrier, 47, of Mahomet was driving north in the 200 block of Prairieview Road in Mahomet about 1:45 a.m. Saturday when he hit Loren James Hinkle, 29, also of Mahomet.
