Man charged in neighborhood incident

URBANA – A Champaign man arrested for hitting another man in a northwest Champaign neighborhood has been charged with misdemeanor battery.

Champaign County sheriff's deputies arrested Mario Johnson, 22, of the 1500 block of King's Way Drive, about 9 p.m. Wednesday in his own neighborhood.
