Storms wash out Friday's Taste of C-U

CHAMPAIGN – The Taste of Champaign was decidedly soggy Friday evening, with at least two trees down and several exhibits damaged. The event was called off for the night and will open Saturday.

Several of Georgia Morgan's displays were destroyed. She couldn't estimate how many hours she put into them, and said she'd be back Saturday.
