One man charged with shooting two women

URBANA – Two 26-year-old women who were shot in a north Champaign neighborhood Tuesday afternoon are expected to survive their injuries.

And a Champaign man accused of shooting them has been charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful use of weapons by a felon.
