Animal-rescue kit saves dog's life in Villa Grove fire
Tank, a pit bull, is one lucky dog; he was rescued from his burning Villa Grove home by firefighters on June 26.
The firefighters were able to revive an unconscious Tank thanks to an animal rescue kit that had been provided to the department by Hands-4-Paws, a nonprofit group that works to protect pets in Douglas County.
