Urbana district doing more than $1 million in upgrades
URBANA – Before too long, Prairie Elementary School could look like a different school.
The school's classrooms are getting remodeled this year, and the playground will be repaved. The kitchen is getting all-new appliances. And the school was chosen for a project to begin this fall to look at ways to make it more energy-efficient.
