UI board newcomer quickly elected to chairmanship
URBANA – One of the newest members of the University of Illinois Board of Trustees, who is also one of those who did not attend the UI, has been chosen as chairman of the board.
By voice vote, the board Thursday named Christopher Kennedy to be chairman as it met for the first time since being reconstituted by Gov. Pat Quinn.
