Throwing money at schools won't work

As the Champaign school board barrels toward a referendum to increase property taxes, there are questions. Recent history indicates that voters are not being told the whole truth.

There have been two referendums in the last several years. One was to use increased revenues to reduce class size, hire new teachers and provide pay raises for the current teachers.
